Manchester United won't renew Michaal Owen's contract?

Michael Owen will reportedly be let go from Manchester United after the club decides against renewing the striker's contract.

Michael Owen is reportedly expected to be released from Manchester United when his current contract expires in June.

The former Liverpool striker has been plagued by injuries this season, which has resulted in just four appearances for the Red Devils during the campaign.

It is believed that United manager Sir Alex Ferguson did consider keeping the 32-year-old for another year but it is likely that the North West club will confirm that Owen will no longer be at the club, according to The Telegraph.

The ex-Real Madrid striker moved to Old Trafford in 2009 on a free transfer.
