Manchester United have reportedly not ruled out reaching an agreement with Borussia Dortmund over attacker Jadon Sancho early in 2021.
The Red Devils missed out on the England international during the most recent transfer window following a summer-long pursuit.
United were reluctant to match Dortmund's £100m asking price, but 90min claims that the move is not yet dead as a fresh approach may be made in January.
The report suggests that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made clear that he still needs a new right-sided attacker and he hopes to be backed by executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
However, United are said to have accepted that Dortmund will not let the 20-year-old leave halfway through the season and are happy to wait until next summer to complete the signing.
Sancho's scoring and assists figures have dropped in the early stages of 2020-21 compared to last season, managing three and two respectively in 10 appearances.
