Manchester United reportedly have no intentions of changing their transfer policy when the January window opens.

Manchester United will reportedly avoid the temptation to change their transfer policy when the January window opens.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side find themselves in 12th position, two points above the relegation zone, after winning just two of their opening eight Premier League fixtures.

The club's continued demise on the pitch has led to many criticising the way United handled transfers over the summer, with the Red Devils bringing in Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James for a combined £150m.

However, according to the Daily Mail, despite United's need for reinforcements, Solskjaer and his team have insisted that the club must remain on the same course when it comes to transfer policy.

The Norwegian has placed strong emphasis on signing young British players who have the capacity to develop over a several years at the club.

However, such a vision has been denigrated by many who feel that it precluded the club from signing replacements for Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera over the last window.
