Manchester City are reportedly not in advanced talks for Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, despite claims that a £100m offer has been tabled.
The Premier League champions were tipped to swoop for the England international at the end of the 2019-20 campaign, but he instead elected to pen a new five-year deal with Villa amid interest from City and Manchester United.
Pep Guardiola's side are believed to have reignited their interest this time around, though, with a recent report stating that City have offered Aston Villa a nine-figure sum for the 25-year-old.
However, journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that City are not in any talks with Villa over Grealish while the attacker focuses on England's exploits at the European Championships.
Romano adds that City remain 'strongly interested' in Grealish, but the Etihad club are not contemplating a swoop until England's Euro 2020 campaign concludes.
The attacker ended the 2020-21 Premier League season with six goals and 12 assists to his name from 26 appearances, and he assisted Raheem Sterling's winner during England's final Euro 2020 group game against the Czech Republic.
