Manchester United's hierarchy reportedly resolves to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer requisite funds for the club to sign Erling Braut Haaland and Saul Niguez next summer.

Manchester United's hierarchy has reportedly resolved to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer requisite funds for the club to sign Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland and Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.

The 46-year-old is determined to secure the signature of Haaland, who has 28 goals in all competitions so far this season.

Moreover, United require reinforcements in midfield having sold and then failed to replace Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini over the past year.

According to the Daily Mail, United will grant Solskjaer the funds to sign his two top targets in Haaland and Niguez.

Recent reports have suggested that Haaland could be available for just £17m due to a release clause in his contract.

James Maddison and Jadon Sancho are two other players who have been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford ahead of next summer's window.
