David Moyes insists that Everton will try to keep hold of Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini amid interest from rival clubs.

Everton manager David Moyes has insisted that it won't be "easy" for clubs to pry the Toffees' top stars away from the club.

The club's duo Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini have been linked with switches away from Goodison Park this summer, with Manchester United being the firm favourites to capture the pair.

Despite reported interest in the players, Moyes insists that the club are focused on strengthening rather than selling.

"We are always going to have interest in the players we have because we have good players but we don't sell easy here and we try to build a team," said Moyes.

"Of course you are going to lose players now and again but we have kept the bulk of players and we will continue to try to add to it and keep improving."

It is understood that Chelsea and Real Madrid are also keen on signing Belgium international Fellaini.
