Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is reportedly keen to bring Bayern Munich midfielder Konrad Laimer to Old Trafford during next summer's transfer window.
Laimer, 27, made the move to Allianz Arena from RB Leipzig in July 2023, and he has represented the Munich giants on 59 occasions, scoring once and providing four assists in the process.
The Austria international has been a vital player for Bayern this term, making 16 appearances in all competitions, and he has largely been used at right-back in 2024-25 despite being regarded as a central midfielder.
Laimer's future has recently been the subject of speculation, with the Austrian thought to be considering a move away from Bayern, and according to Sky Deutschland, he is on Man United's radar.
The report claims that Amorim is a huge fan of the versatile star, who can play as a right-back, defensive midfielder and central midfielder, which would give Man United valuable cover in three key positions.

Man United 'interested in signing Bayern's Laimer'
Laimer came through the youth system at Red Bull Salzburg and went on to represent the Austrian side on 77 occasions in all competitions before making the move to Leipzig, where he played a further 190 times.
The Austrian won three league titles and three cups during his time at Salzburg, while he lifted two German Cups at Leipzig, but he is yet to secure silverware with Bayern, with the Munich outfit underwhelming last term.
Laimer's contract is due to run until June 2027, but it is believed that Bayern would be prepared to let him leave next summer if their valuation was met.

Where would Laimer play for Man United?
Laimer has operated in a number of different positions for Austria, and he is certainly capable of playing in a wide area, but it is difficult to imagine him featuring as a wing-back in Amorim's 3-4-3 system.
It is much more likely that Laimer would feature in central midfield for Man United, and that is a position that the Red Devils are expected to strengthen next summer due to potential outgoings.
Christian Eriksen only has a contract at Old Trafford until next June and is unlikely to pen an extension, while Casemiro could be moved on next summer, with the Brazilian not a long-term option for Amorim.
Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte are expected to be key players moving forward, but Laimer could be the perfect signing for Man United in the middle, as he is the type of character that could thrive at Old Trafford.
Laimer still has a lot of football ahead of him despite the fact that he is approaching his late 20s, and it is unlikely that Man United would have to break the bank for the Austrian in order to secure his services.
