Manchester United are reportedly prepared to freeze out Paul Pogba once he returns from injury due to his reluctance to sign a new deal.

Paul Pogba may have already played his final game for Manchester United, according to a report.

The France international has just seven months to run on his contract and has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Old Trafford.

Pogba has been reluctant to agree fresh terms and is eligible to discuss a free transfer with foreign clubs from January 1.

The Sun claims that, with the 28-year-old sidelined until the New Year with a thigh problem, United are prepared to freeze him out until he eventually departs.

Former Juventus midfielder Pogba is due to return in around 10 weeks' time, but it is suggested that the Red Devils will continue to use other players even once he is back.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly the favourites to sign Pogba next year, while Juve, Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been tipped to make a move.
