Real Madrid reportedly join Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.

Real Madrid have reportedly entered the race to sign Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur target Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.

United have pursued Fernandes throughout the summer transfer window and reportedly reached an agreement with Sporting for the Portugal international earlier this week.

More recent reports have suggested that Tottenham Hotspur are moving ahead of United in the race to sign the 24-year-old, with officials flying to Portugal on Friday to flesh out a deal of their own.

According to Record, Los Blancos are also interested in Fernandes and have commenced work with agent Jorges Mendes to beat the Premier League sides to his signature.

Fernandes was reportedly seen leaving Sporting's training ground this week after finalising his departure with club president Federico Varandas and sporting director Hugo Viana.

It has also been claimed that Real are close to securing the signature of Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.
