Report: Arda Turan to Old Trafford for Shinji Kagawa and £16m

Manchester United are believed to be eyeing up a £16m swap deal for Turkish winger Arda Turan that could see Shinji Kagawa move to Atletico Madrid.

Manchester United are ready to offer £16m million plus Shinji Kagawa for Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan, according to Turkish sports newspaper AMK.

Turan, 27, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for some time, and Atletico Madrid's interest in Kagawa, 25, could now mean that a swap deal goes ahead.

The La Liga champions have already lost David Villa, Diego Costa, Filipe Luis and Thibaut Courtois this summer, but have strengthed through the signings of Mario Mandzukic and Antoine Griezmann.

Kagawa has struggled since joining United from Borussia Dortmund for £12m, failing to score last season.
