Report: Atletico Madrid interested in Shinji Kagawa

Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa is reportedly a transfer target for La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid have reportedly identified Shinji Kagawa as a potential target for this summer's transfer window.

The Manchester United midfielder, who made 30 appearances in all competitions last season, has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Atletico manager Diego Simeone has identified the Japan international as an alternative to Arsenal's Santi Cazorla, who is also thought to be on the Spanish side's radar.

Kagawa joined United from Borussia Dortmund in 2012.
