Manchester United have reportedly sounded out Antoine Griezmann's representatives as their interest in the Atletico Madrid forward grows.
The 24-year-old, who joined Atletico in 2014, scored 25 times during his debut season for the capital outfit and has also already netted six times in 12 appearances in the new campaign.
Chelsea were strongly linked with the Frenchman during the summer transfer window, but according to Fichajes.net, it is Man United that are making the strongest noises in relation to a move.
It is believed that Man United boss Louis van Gaal will once again have funds to spend in January, but any possible deal for Griezmann is likely to have to wait until the end of the season.
The French international has spent his entire professional career in Spain, coming through the youth ranks at Real Sociedad before moving to Atletico.
