Report: Manchester United want Alex Song

Barcelona midfielder Alex Song hints at a return to England, with Manchester United reportedly leading the race.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a summer move for Barcelona midfielder Alex Song.

The Cameroon international moved to the Camp Nou from Arsenal in 2012, but has struggled to secure a regular first-team spot with the Spanish champions.

The defensive midfielder recently told beIN Sport: "I will return to England, that's for sure. If I leave Barcelona one day, it will be to move to England."

Arsenal have also been linked with a move for their former midfielder, but it is understood that United boss David Moyes has made Song one of his leading targets.
