Manchester United have reportedly made contact with Sporting Lisbon about possibly signing midfielder William Carvalho.
The Premier League champions have been linked with the 21-year-old for some time, but it is believed that a potential deal to take the midfielder to Old Trafford is now in motion.
According to the Daily Mail, the Portuguese club have slapped a £29m price tag on Carvalho while the Red Devils believe that the player is worth £4m less.
Reports have claimed that manager David Moyes is keen to complete his summer transfer activity before the start of the World Cup on June 12.
