Ryan Gravenberch is reportedly a step closer to joining Liverpool from Bayern Munich, having agreed personal terms with the Merseysiders ahead of a permanent move.

Liverpool have reportedly agreed personal terms with Ryan Gravenberch ahead of a potential move from Bayern Munich in the closing days of the transfer window.

The 21-year-old was hotly-tipped to be a future star for the Bundesliga champions, however he made just three league starts for the Bavarians in the 2022-23 term.

Gravenberch has featured 34 times for Bayern since making the switch from Eredivisie giants Ajax in the summer of 2022, managing to make the net ripple on just the one occasion.

Despite limited chances at club level recently, the midfielder is set to be an important player in the future for his nation, having already made 11 appearances for the Netherlands.

According to talkSPORT, Gravenberch and Liverpool have agreed personal terms on a deal which would see him switch to the Premier League in the final moments of the summer window.

The report claims that the deal would be a permanent one between Bayern and the Merseysiders, meaning that the Dutchman's association with the Bavarians would be coming to an end after just one season.

It is understood that the two clubs are yet to finalise a fee for the transfer of Gravenberch, with discussions set to intensify ahead of the deadline at 11pm on Friday.

While it is believed that Liverpool are very keen on the 21-year-old, they will only submit a formal offer for the player should Bayern's valuation be reasonable.

The report also adds that Manchester United are interested in the capture of Gravenberch, however their number-one target in midfield remains Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat.

The Bundesliga champions are supposedly willing to let the midfielder leave before the end of the summer window, but Thomas Tuchel would like a replacement in his engine room.

It is understood that the former Chelsea boss has expressed his desire to reunite with Conor Gallagher, although it remains to be seen whether the England international would favour a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Reports earlier today stated that Gravenberch hopes to join either Liverpool or Man United before the window slams shut, with the midfielder unhappy with his lack of game time at the Allianz Arena.

Despite earning five appearances for the Bavarians in their pre-season schedule, the former Ajax youngster has played just nine minutes of competitive football so far this season.

Harry Kane and company will be looking to make it three wins from three in the Bundesliga on Saturday when they travel to Borussia Monchengladbach.
