Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has said that he does not want to become distracted by speculation about his future.
While the England international has been strongly tipped to join Manchester United this summer, a move will not materialise unless the Premier League giants are prepared to bid closer to Dortmund's £108m valuation.
Although talk about a transfer is inevitable until the end of the transfer window, Sancho insists that he will be paying little attention to the frequent debate over his plans going forward.
Speaking to Soccerbible, the 20-year-old said: "I try not to look at the media because I think once you start looking at all that it would be easy to get carried away with it. It can affect players. For me it's about not looking at those things and just focusing on trying to do the best I can on the pitch. Especially in training.
"For me it's about improving every single day. It's important for me to keep a smile on my face and keep happy. I don't really look at all the noise and all that stuff. I'd rather keep my head down, keep focus and improve every day."
Dortmund recently revealed that Sancho has three years left on his contract, 12 months more than had previously been disclosed.
