Tottenham Hotspur reportedly identify Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus and Manchester United forward Anthony Martial as possible replacements for wantaway Harry Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus and Manchester United forward Anthony Martial as possible part-exchange replacements for Harry Kane.

Reports emerged on Monday claiming that Kane has reiterated his desire to leave Spurs this summer, handing in a transfer request at the club he has represented his entire career so far.

Tottenham are reluctant to sell their second-highest goalscorer of all time, and are believed to have put a £150m price tag on his head in a bid to ward off potential suitors.

Such a fee is unlikely to be met in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, but the Daily Mail reports that Spurs could be willing to consider a player-plus-cash deal.

Both Manchester clubs have been linked with a move for Kane, and Daniel Levy would reportedly be interested in a part-exchange involving either Jesus or Martial moving in the opposite direction.

The report claims that Tottenham have also enquired about Erling Braut Haaland as a possible replacement for Kane, only to be put off by his £350,000-a-week wage demands.

Spurs are particularly reluctant to sell Kane to a Premier League rival, but the striker himself would prefer to stay in England, while the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona cannot afford him in their current financial state.

Kane has directly contributed to 48 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring 32 and creating 16 more.

In comparison, Jesus has 13 goals and four assists in 29 games and Martial has seven goals and nine assists in 36 outings.
