Manchester United, Arsenal in hunt for Atletico Madrid striker?

Manchester United and Arsenal reportedly hold an interest in Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto.

Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto has reportedly emerged as a summer target for both Manchester United and Arsenal.

Vietto moved to the Vicente Calderon at the start of last season but he failed to make an impact for the La Liga giants, scoring just once in 12 starts and eight substitute appearances.

According to talkSPORT, both United and Arsenal are keeping an eye on his situation in Spain as they look to strengthen their striking departments during the summer.

The 22-year-old netted 18 times for Villarreal in all competitions during the 2014-15 campaign and as well as the Premier league duo, other teams across Europe are said to be prepared to offer him an opportunity.

Barcelona and Lazio have previously been linked with the Argentine forward.
