Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly preparing to do battle for the signature of Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez during the January transfer window.
The creative Colombian has struggled for playing time under coach Zinedine Zidane, leading to continued speculation regarding the 25-year-old's future in the Spanish capital.
According to Don Balon, both United and Chelsea are keen to enter a race to lure the attacker to the Premier League, while the same report also suggests that Italian giants Juventus are considering making a move of their own.
Rodriguez has scored 26 goals in 88 appearances for Real since joining the club from AS Monaco in 2014.
