Manchester United will reportedly land Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Toby Alderweireld at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
Alderweireld will see his current deal with Tottenham expire in the summer of 2020.
A clause in the Belgium international's contract means that he will be available for £26m this summer's transfer window, and according to The Mirror, Spurs are resigned to losing the defender.
The same report has claimed that United are leading Barcelona and Juventus in the race to sign the 30-year-old, with the Red Devils widely expected to secure his signature ahead of the 2019-2020 season.
Alderweireld has made 38 appearances in all competitions for his London club this term.
United have also seemingly been handed a boost when it comes to Paul Pogba's future, with the midfielder now expected to commit his long-term future to the 20-time English champions.
