The agent of Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has hit out at the club after they reportedly prevented him from leaving during the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad since joining the club for £40m last year, making just four Premier League starts in 2020-21.
Van de Beek is yet to feature at all so far this season, and reports on deadline day suggested that Everton launched a late bid to sign him on loan.
However, that was blocked by Solskjaer, and Van de Beek's agent Guido Albers expressed his frustration at the Dutchman being denied more regular first-team football.
"I prefer not to bring this up (how Van de Beek is feeling)," he told Dutch radio station Voetbal International.
"Everyone who knows Donny... he just wants to play football, he loves football. So from my reaction... I think you can tell."
Van de Beek, who was forced to pull out of Euro 2020 at late notice due to injury, has been left out of Louis van Gaal's first squad back in charge of Netherlands due to a lack of gametime.
