Manchester United target Arturo Vidal 'ready' to begin new season with Juventus

Arturo Vidal insists that he is "ready" for the new season in Serie A with Juventus, dispelling rumours that he could be joining Manchester United.

Arturo Vidal has insisted that he is 'ready' to begin the new season with Juventus, despite Manchester United's reported desire to sign the midfielder.

The Chile international has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, but the Italian club are said to be determined to keep the midfielder.

While some reports in Italy have claimed that a deal has been agreed between United and Juve with three days left in the window, Vidal himself has suggested that he is solely focused on life in Turin.

The 27-year-old posted an image on Twitter with a message, which has been translated as saying: "Ready to start the championship! We are 100% Juventus !!!!!"
