Report: Ross McCormack seeks Fulham exit

A report claims that Fulham's Scottish striker Ross McCormack is trying to force through a move to promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough.

Reported Middlesbrough transfer target Ross McCormack has supposedly informed Fulham of his desire to leave Craven Cottage this month.

Recent speculation claimed that Boro have had a bid of £9m plus Spanish striker Kike on loan for the Scottish frontman rejected by their Championship counterparts.

However, 29-year-old McCormack is keen to force through a move to Teeside and has insisted that he has played his last game for Fulham, according to the Daily Mail.

The report adds that promotion-hunting Boro are prepared to improve upon their offer, although not by much.

McCormack, who has scored 15 goals this season, missed yesterday's 1-0 defeat at home to Hull City through illness.
