Millwall captain Alan Dunne believes that if his side avoid relegation to League One this season it will be their "greatest escape".
The Lions looked a certainty for the drop when Ian Holloway was sacked as manager in March, but the club have rallied under interim boss Neil Harris to pull within four points of safety with three games remaining in their campaign.
"Our run-in is difficult but we feel that we have a chance now," Dunne told the club's official website.
"We are scrapping for our lives so it is up to us to get the job done. We have put the pressure on other teams before and have shown that we can play under pressure.
"We've survived the last two years by the skin of our teeth, but if we do it this time it will be the greatest escape ever by the club."
Millwall face off against Blackburn Rovers in their Championship clash at Ewood Park later today.
