Team News: Sid Nelson makes debut for Millwall against Bournemouth

Millwall hand a professional debut to young defender Sid Nelson as they welcome league leaders Bournemouth to The New Den in the Championship.

Millwall have decided to hand a professional debut to academy graduate Sid Nelson as they welcome Bournemouth in the Championship this afternoon.

The young defender slots into a team that will feature the returning Lee Gregory and Scott McDonald up front, with creative support being provided by Lee Martin.

Eddie Howe's Bournemouth side is to include a front pairing of Callum Wilson and Yann Kermorgant, while the likes of Andrew Surman and Harry Arter will look to provide some enterprise from the centre of the pitch. Adam Smith is also welcomed back into the team.

The visitors had hoped to be able to include veteran full-back Ian Harte somewhere in the squad but he misses out, with Tokelo Rantie returning to the bench following a spell out through injury.

Millwall: Forde; Wilkinson, Shittu, Nelson, Malone, Woolford, Abdou, Williams, McDonald, Martin, Gregory

Bournemouth: Boruc; Francis, Elphick, Cook, Daniels, Ritchie, Arter, Surman, Smith, Wilson, Kermorgant
