Striker Nicky Maynard has signed a deal with Championship side MK Dons until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old former West Ham United player was a free agent after being released by Cardiff City at the end of last season.
Maynard is available to make his debut in Wednesday's Capital One Cup tie against Southampton, but Dons boss Karl Robinson suggested that it would be a little while before he was back to full match sharpness.
"It will take him a little while to fully get up to speed so we need to be patient, but he's very good player and I'm excited to see him play for us," Robinson told the club website.
Maynard made just three league starts for Cardiff last season, scoring once in 10 total Championship appearances.
