Former Motherwell forward Michael Higdon has signed a two-year contract with Dutch club NEC Nijmegen.
Higdon was the Scottish Premier League's top goalscorer last season, but after rejecting the opportunity to sign a new deal at Fir Park, he has made the decision to move to the Netherlands.
Technical director Carlos Aalbers told the club's official website: "We wanted to have a type of target man.
"With capturing Michael, that is successful. He's shown to be able to score goals at the highest level."
The 29-year-old scored 26 goals in the SPL last season.
