Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri says that he will announce his future after tomorrow's match with Roma.

Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has refused to confirm whether he will be extending his stay at the Stadio San Paolo at a press conference this afternoon.

The 51-year-old's contract expires next month and he has so far been non-committal towards a new deal, letting it be known that he is wrestling with the idea of taking a sabbatical.

He called the Italian media to the club's Castelvolturno training ground today, where he was widely expected to address the question of his future.

However, Mazzarri has continued to keep people guessing, stating that he will announce his decision following the conclusion of the Serie A season.

"Since this summer, when I said I'd take a decision at the end of the season, I continue to state there is one game left," Mazzarri told reporters. "So, I continue to hold out and will explain everything straight after the final game, which is tomorrow against Roma.

"I don't know if it'll be tomorrow night or in a few days, but I will explain my decision. I am not avoiding the question, but there is specific timing in football and that can change an action from positive to negative.

"If I say we have to wait until the last round, there is a reason for that. The reasons will become clear soon."

Mazzarri succeeded Roberto Donadoni at Napoli in 2009.
