Saturday's Serie A predictions including Hellas Verona vs. Juventus

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Hellas Verona vs. Juventus.

Napoli vs. Genoa (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Only three places apart in the Serie A standings, reigning champions Napoli and promoted Genoa meet at Stadio Maradona on Saturday.

The Partenopei's latest loss leaves them well adrift of Italy's top four, while their visitors saw an impressive unbeaten streak abruptly ended last week.

We say: Napoli 1-1 Genoa

Short of a cutting edge, Napoli simply cannot compile a good run of results and are often left frustrated at Stadio Maradona. Having proven their mettle since promotion, Genoa are well-placed to take advantage, so the Grifone may return north with a point.

Hellas Verona vs. Juventus (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Recent events have left Juventus trailing behind in this season's Serie A title race, so the Turin giants will aim to get back on track when visiting Hellas Verona on Saturday.

A tally of one point from three games sees Juve in danger of losing their grip on second place, while Hellas have won only once this year to slip further into danger.

We say: Hellas Verona 0-1 Juventus

An impressive start to 2024 has dramatically tailed off in recent weeks, so Juventus will be content with victory by any means at the Bentegodi. Ever the pragmatist, Max Allegri is certainly not averse to a one-goal win, and Verona's minimal menace should aid Juve's wily head coach.

Atalanta vs. Sassuolo (Saturday, 7.45pm)

One of Serie A's form sides, Atalanta BC, host relegation-threatened Sassuolo at the Gewiss Stadium, seeking a fifth straight league win.

Gian Piero Gasperini's men are locked in a six-way tussle to end in the last Champions League spot, while their opponents risk sliding into the bottom three this weekend.

We say: Atalanta BC 3-1 Sassuolo

Gasperini's should live up to their favourites tag by securing a comfortable victory over Sassuolo to record their fifth on the trot in Serie A and seventh consecutive triumph at the Gewiss Stadium.
