Frank de Boer: 'I don't want Netherlands job'

Ajax manager Frank de Boer rules himself out as a replacement for the Netherlands job after pressure mounted on Guus Hiddink following their loss against Iceland.

Ajax manager Frank de Boer has ruled himself out as a potential candidate to take over as Netherlands manager, if rumours of Guus Hiddink's termination come to fruition.

De Boer's twin brother Ronald recently commented on the national side's poor run of form, saying that Hiddink is finished after Netherlands lost 2-0 to Iceland.

"Am I available if necessary? No, certainly not," De Boer replied when asked about his availability for the role, according to Goal.com.

"Like any fan I did not like that the Netherlands crashed against Iceland. The only remedy is to grab points."

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has also distanced himself from the role, despite admitting that he wanted to replace Louis van Gaal.
