Demba Ba's transfer talks with Chelsea result in Shola Ameobi coming into the Newcastle United starting lineup.

Shola Ameobi has come into the Newcastle United starting lineup for this evening's home clash against Everton.

The Nigerian striker has replaced Demba Ba, who has been granted permission to hold transfer talks with Chelsea.

Elsewhere, Ivorian international Cheick Tiote has been reinstalled into the midfield.

Meanwhile, Marouane Fellaini has returned from suspension for Everton and will play in an attacking role behind lone striker Nikica Jelavic.
