Team News: Jonas Gutierrez makes Newcastle United bench for Aston Villa clash

Jonas Gutierrez is back in the Newcastle United squad just months after beating cancer, making the bench for Saturday's Premier League game against Aston Villa.

Newcastle United and Aston Villa have made four changes apiece for their Premier League clash at St James' Park this afternoon.

Gabriel Obertan, Mehdi Abeid, Sammy Ameobi and Emmanuel Riviere are drafted into the Magpies' starting XI, with midfielder Jonas Gutierrez making a return to the squad by being included among the subs.

Full-back Daryl Janmaat has recovered from a knock, but Siem de Jong, Remy Cabella and the suspended Jack Colback miss out, as well as defenders Steven Taylor and Paul Dummett.

Villa see Jores Okore, Matthew Lowton, Tom Cleverley and Ashley Westwood slotted into their starting lineup, with Carlos Sanchez and Carles Gil dropped to the bench, Ron Vlaar suspended and Kieran Richardson injured.

Newcastle: Krul, Janmaat, Coloccini, Williamson, Haidara, Obertan, Sissoko, Abeid, Ameobi, Riviere, Cisse
