Team News: Crystal Palace, Newcastle United both unchanged

Crystal Palace name an unchanged lineup for this afternoon's trip to Newcastle United.

Crystal Palace have named an unchanged lineup for this afternoon's trip to Newcastle United.

Roy Hodgson opts to stick with the winning formula that secured a shock victory over champions Chelsea last Saturday, which gave the Eagles their first goals and points of the season.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who was ineligible to feature against the Blues, takes a place on the bench. Wayne Hennessey is also among the replacements as Julian Speroni keeps his place in goal.

Hosts Newcastle are also unchanged from their last game, a 2-2 stalemate with Southampton.

The only change for the Magpies comes on the bench, as calf injury-afflicted Dwight Gayle is replaced by Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Newcastle United: Elliot; Yedlin, Lascelles, Lejeune, Manquillo; Shelvey, Hayden; Ritchie, Perez, Atsu; Joselu
Subs: Darlow, Clark, Murphy, Diame, Merino, Gamez, Mitrovic

Crystal Palace: Speroni; Ward, Dann, Sakho, Van Aanholt; McArthur, Cabaye, Milivojevic, Schlupp; Townsend, Zaha
Subs: Hennessey, Tomkins, Loftus-Cheek, Fosu-Mensah, Sako, Puncheon, Riedewald
