Sparta Prague goalkeeper Martin Dubravka is reportedly close to making his loan move to Newcastle United permanent.
The Slovakia international has impressed since joining the Magpies, keeping three clean sheets in his first six matches.
According to Sky Sports News, Newcastle intend to open talks with Sparta Prague about signing Dubravka permanently and are hopeful of brokering a deal.
The Magpies are also said to be keen to secure fellow loan star Kenedy on a full-time deal, but are less confident where he is concerned, amid reported interest from elsewhere.
Newcastle moved into the top 10 of the Premier League on Sunday by defeating Arsenal 2-1 at home.
