Newly-crowned Serie A champions Juventus make Newcastle United midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa a leading transfer target ahead of their return to the Champions League next season.

Newcastle United playmaker Hatem Ben Arfa has reportedly been shortlisted by Juventus manager Antonio Conte.

The Turin club won the Serie A title for the first time since 2003 on Sunday night.

That will bring a return to the Champions League and, with a budget of £35m to spend, Conte has made the 25-year-old Frenchman a primary target as he looks to improve his squad ahead of the challenge, according to The Mirror.

Ben Arfa has scored six goals in 29 appearances for the fifth-placed Magpies this season.
