Newcastle United have confirmed the signing of Bordeaux forward Yoan Gouffran.
The 26-year-old Frenchman has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at St James' Park for an undisclosed fee.
"I am really proud to have joined this fantastic club," Gouffran told Newcastle's official website.
"Throughout the last few years I have enjoyed every moment of my time at Bordeaux but all good things must come to an end and it was time for a new challenge."
Gouffran made nearly 200 appearances for Bordeaux following a move from Caen in 2008.
