Joseph Yobo: 'Nigeria going places'

Nigeria's veteran defender Joseph Yobo reveals that he believes his side are going places after managing to reach the last 16 of the World Cup.

Veteran Nigeria defender Joseph Yobo has backed his country to go places in this World Cup, having qualified for the last 16.

The Nigerians started the tournament at a slow pace, having limped to a 0-0 draw in their first game against Iran, however Yobo has revealed that the Greens are improving as the World Cup progresses.

"This team is going places. It keeps growing, it keeps getting better," Yobo revealed to reporters in Brazil.

Nigeria will now take on free-scoring France in the next round on Monday, June 28.
