Chris Hughton believes that Norwich City should have beaten Newcastle United, but blames a poor final ball.

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has revealed his disappointment at his side's final delivery in the 0-0 draw with his old club Newcastle United.

Norwich squandered a number of chances to win the game, including a shot from Russell Martin that hit the post.

Hughton said that, despite missing chances, it was a good point in the end.

"Our final ball and our delivery from set-plays let us down," BBC Sport quotes Hughton as saying.

"On the balance of play we were the better team but you have to score goals and we weren't able to do that. Certainly, in the end, it was not a bad point."

Norwich are 12th in the Premier League after the result.
