Defender Russell Martin insists that he had no problem with Norwich City fans booing following yesterday's 5-2 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool.

Defender Russell Martin has insisted that he had no problem with Norwich City fans booing following yesterday's 5-2 home defeat to Liverpool.

The Canaries, who have failed to register a win in their opening six Premier League games this season, were jeered at half time and after the final whistle at Carrow Road.

"The fans pay good money and they have been unbelievable for the last few years so if they want to air their views then that's fine," said Martin.

Norwich, who are currently 18th in the league table, visit European champions Chelsea next Saturday.
