Preview: Norwich City vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole looks ahead to Tony Pulis's first game in charge of Crystal Palace away to Norwich City.

Tony Pulis will take on his first game in charge of Crystal Palace when they travel to Carrow Road to face Norwich City this weekend.

The former Stoke City boss, who signed a contract until the summer of 2016 at the weekend, watched his new team secure a 1-0 win over Hull City from the stands on Saturday.

The result at the KC Stadium marked Palace's second win of the season after 12 games, giving Pulis the task of getting the Eagles onto a winning run.

For the home side this weekend, Chris Hughton's men have also struggled of late having secured just one victory in their last six encounters.

With the Canaries sitting in 16th position in the league table, questions have been asked of the attacking threat of summer signings Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Gary Hooper.

Palace are unlikely to move out of the bottom three with a victory this weekend as they currently reside 19th with a goal difference of minus 14.

The home side will be without Anthony Pilkington after the winger was stretchered off during last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United, while Robert Snodgrass is also injured.

For Palace, Marouane Chamakh and Dwight Gayle could start in attack for Pulis's first game in charge.
