Norwich City boss Chris Hughton has admitted that he wants to bring in another striker.
The Canaries have already signed Ricky van Wolfswinkel from Sporting Lisbon this summer, but have seen Simeon Jackson and Grant Holt leave the club.
They have been linked with several Serie A striker and Hughton insists that adding players is not easy.
"Yes, I have seen the reports that I was in Italy," Hughton told the Norwich evening news.
"There are players that we would have an interest in bringing to the club but wanting to bring someone here and actually getting them here are two different things.
"The areas that we felt we needed to improve were the offensive areas. We brought Ricky in but on the other side Simeon and Holty have departed so, yes, the forward area is one we are looking to do something."
Norwich were beaten on their pre-season tour of America this morning.
