Nottingham Forest have announced that defender Michael Dawson will rejoin the club when his contract at Hull City expires in the summer.
The 34-year-old came through the ranks at the City Ground, making his professional debut at the club in a 3-2 loss to Walsall in 2002.
Dawson made almost 100 appearances for the Reds before joining Tottenham Hotspur, where he was part of the squad that won the EFL Cup in 2008.
The four-cap England international was at White Hart Lane between 2005 and 2014 before joining Hull and spending four years with the Tigers.
Forest confirmed the signing on Wednesday, adding that Dawson will be contracted to the Championship outfit until 2020 as of July 1.
The centre-back made 41 appearances in all competitions for Hull last season, scoring three goals.
