Notts County striker Ronan Murray will miss out the remainder of the season because of complications with a groin injury.
The 23-year-old had already been out of action for the last six weeks, but further analysis has shown the extent of the injury to be worse than originally predicted.
According to the Nottingham Post, Murray has returned to his native Ireland for the next two weeks having been ordered to rest before beginning rehabilitation.
Murray has made 26 appearances for Notts this season.
