Eintracht Frankfurt coach Armin Veh says that there is a lot riding on his side's encounter with Nuremberg this weekend, as both sides look to stave off relegation.

Eintracht Frankfurt coach Armin Veh has stated that there is a lot riding on his side's encounter with Nuremberg this weekend, as both sides look to stave off relegation.

Frankfurt have found it tough going of late, having been beaten by Freiburg last time out in the Bundesliga, with their manager now stating that Sunday's game could be pivotal in the outcome of his team's season.

"The bottom line is that Nuremberg are in exactly the same position as we are," said Veh ahead of the game, according to the official Bundesliga website.

"They're down there at the bottom as well, so there's a lot riding on the game. I've got no doubt that both sides will approach the match in the right way.

"There's not much between us, so I expect it'll be a close one."

Frankfurt currently hold 13th position in the Bundesliga table, only three points clear of 16th-placed Nuremberg.
