Cambuur fightback stuns PEC Zwolle

Cambuur hold PEC Zwolle to a 2-2 draw at the IJsseldelta Stadion.

PEC Zwolle blew a two-goal lead as Cambuur recovered to snatch a draw in their opening Eredivisie game of the season at the IJsseldelta Stadion this evening.

Dirk Marcellis put the home side ahead on his debut just after the half-hour mark, and PEC Zwolle doubled their advantage three minutes later.

Ajax loanee Sheraldo Becker was the man who struck as the winger gave his side a two-goal lead at half time.

Queensy Menig struck the woodwork as Ron Jans's side continued to dominate after the restart.

However, Cambuur fought back and reduced the deficit when Erik Bakker slid in and bundled the ball home from close range.

Sjoerd Overgoor then rescued a point for the visitors when he applied the finish to a flowing team move 13 minutes from time.
