Team News: Ben Nugent to make Peterborough United debut

Ben Nugent will make his Peterborough bow after being named in the starting lineup for tonight's visit of Walsall in League One.

Ben Nugent is poised to make his Peterborough United debut after being named in the starting lineup for tonight's visit of Walsall in League One.

The 20-year-old arrived at London Road on loan from Cardiff City earlier in the week, and manager Darren Ferguson has ushered him straight into the fold for the clash with the Saddlers.

Nugent replaces Mark Little in defence as Ferguson elects to make just one change from last week's dramatic 2-1 victory over Leyton Orient, with Nicky Ajose and Britt Assombalonga continuing in attack.

Meanwhile, Walsall boss Dean Smith has named two changes to his first XI from the 3-0 defeat to MK Dons last time out, with James Chambers replacing the suspended Andy Butler, while Romaine Sawyers drops out for Michael Ngoo.

Peterborough United: Olejnik; Alcock, Nugent, Brisley, Knight-Percival; Bostwick, Payne, Swanson, Rowe; Ajose, Assombalonga

Walsall: O'Donnell; Purkiss, Downing, Benning, J Chambers; Ngoo, A Chambers, Mantom, Lalkovic, Brandy; Westcarr
