Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry confirms that St Johnstone forward Stevie May remains a transfer target.

Peterborough United director of football Barry Fry has revealed that the club are still interested in signing St Johnstone forward Stevie May.

The Championship outfit have already had three bids rejected for the Scotland Under-21 international, but Fry has insisted that they will return with another offer.

"Stevie fits the model of the type of player we look to bring to Peterborough, that of a young, gifted striker," he told reporters at a press conference.

May scored 25 league goals while on loan at Hamilton Academical last season.
