Joe Devera suffers knee injury

Portsmouth defender Joe Devera suffers a knee injury in the 1-1 draw with Exeter City at the weekend.

Portsmouth boss Richie Barker has revealed that defender Joe Devera suffered a knee injury in the 1-1 draw with Exeter City at the weekend.

However, Barker is hopeful that the knock will not keep the 27-year-old out of action for an extended period.

"He got caught from the side and said he heard a big click in his knee," Barker told reporters.

"It was really sore, but I've spoken to him since and he feels a bit better."

Devera started his career at Barnet, before moving to Swindon Town in 2011. Last summer, Devera signed a two-year deal with Portsmouth.
