Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva has claimed that the French champions now 'have the strongest squad in Europe'.
The capital outfit won four domestic trophies last season but were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League by Barcelona.
New signing Angel di Maria recently commented on the strength of his new team, and now Silva has had his say on 'the best team he has played in'.
"If you look at the European teams, on paper, PSG has the squad with the most quality players. We are one of the top teams. For me, Barcelona is the best, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are next, and after that it's Manchester City, Chelsea and us," he told L'Equipe.
"When I look at this team, I think it's a great team. I think this is the best team I've ever played in, there is so much quality.
"I have thought a lot lately and I realised that I still have dreams to achieve. I want to leave PSG one day having won the Champions League. That is my biggest dream."
PSG have been drawn into Group A in the European Cup alongside Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk and Malmo. On Tuesday, they will face the latter in their opener in Paris.
