Paris Saint-Germain duo Blaise Matuidi, Marco Verratti struggling to face Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain may be without both Blaise Matuidi and Marco Verratti for the Champions League last-16 second leg against Chelsea.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has confirmed that midfield duo Blaise Matuidi and Marco Verratti could both miss next week's return leg against Chelsea in the Champions League last 16.

Both men started the first leg in the French capital last month, which PSG won 2-1, but they may have to sit out next Wednesday's match at Stamford Bridge.

Verratti, who has made only 11 Ligue 1 starts this season, is suffering from a groin injury, while Matuidi recently picked up a knock.

Neither man will play in tomorrow's home match against Montpellier.
